June 5-7, 2020 London : Build Bridges, Not Borders
Make new friends. Explore new places. Expand your Yoga.
The European Yogi Nomads are a group of yogis who come together in different European cities united by their love of yoga and community. Each event takes place during a weekend with different practices aiming at establishing connection and well-being - all levels are welcomed. Classes are co-taught by two teachers, and we try to connect local couch surfing options to sustain this community-building spirit. You can learn more about the event and each teacher in their dedicated sections.
For our 17th gathering, we are thrilled to come back to London and to what is important - building bridges, not borders. With that in mind, we are also teaming up with the OMPowerment Project and are donating our proceeds to this amazing project that is empowering refugees to lead each other through trauma-informed yoga.
All classes will be co-taught by two teachers. Co-creation is part of the EYN magic . Click on the photo to learn more about each teacher

EMPOWERING REFUGEES TO LEAD EACH OTHER THROUGH TRAUMA INFORMED YOGA
The OMPowerment Project’s mission is to empower refugees to lead themselves and members of their communities in the healing practice of trauma informed yoga.
Yoga is effective for alleviating mental, physical and emotional stress. Refugees worldwide have long benefited from yoga but access to the practice has been dependent on volunteer availability. By empowering refugees to teach and lead themselves, this healing practice can continue regardless of volunteer skillsets and availability. Our purpose is to promote community-led leadership by offering refugee communities the capacity to teach themselves - teaching a man to fish, instead of feeding him for a day.
